Demystifying Global Secure Access: VPN-less Security for the Modern Era
I will present this session at Experts Live Austria Conference 2026 on June 25, 2026.
Legacy VPNs are no longer just a performance bottleneck; they are a primary target for lateral movement. Global Secure Access redefines the perimeter by shifting security from the network to the identity, helping organizations build a practical Zero Trust environment for modern access scenarios.
In this session, I will pull back the curtain on how Global Secure Access works under the hood. We will explore how Zero Trust Network Access, Application Proxy capabilities, and Secure DNS can work together to create a seamless private internet experience. I will also share practical guidance on how to publish internal resources without exposing public endpoints, along with the networking checks that should be completed before going into production.
Session details:
- Thursday, 25 Jun 2026
- 2:10 pm - 2:50 pm (W. Europe Daylight Time, UTC+02:00)

Takeaways:
- Identity-centric connectivity beyond the traditional castle-and-moat network model.
- The Application Proxy advantage for accessing internal resources without increasing lateral movement risk.
- DNS and traffic control mechanics behind secure internet routing.
- Critical security and performance checks for a successful production rollout.
